About the event
Calling all high schoolers! Are you looking for some extra adventure this summer? Have you been to our camp multiple times and are looking for a new experience? Join us for our first ever Individual's Backcountry trip, where we will take a group of high school individuals to the backcountry for four days. We will return from the Backcountry on Thursday and will end the trip with a day of Class IV whitewater rafting on Friday.
The Backcountry is a beautiful, once in a lifetime experience. We hike 6 miles to our basecamp, where we cook all of our meals over a fire and sleep on beautiful granite slabs. One of our days in the Backcountry, we top rope rock climb and complete a 90 foot rappel! The second day, we hike to natural water slides. Though the Backcountry is truly amazing, it is not the best fit for everyone.…
