A Two Day Adventure Trip
Two days of adventure and challenge while white water rafting and scaling rock faces in top-rope style climbing. We'll spend 1 day of Class III river rafting on the South Fork of the American River and 1 day of rock climbing. High school groups can upgrade to 1 day class IV California rafting on the Ruck-A-Chuck for an additional $32/person. Each day on our adventures, we'll experience the beauty of God's creation. We'll challenge ourselves physically, to grow in our Christian faith and build lasting teamwork skills. Among other things your group will take part in quiet times, campfires, climbing, exploring and rafting.

Explore the peace and power of God's playground on foot and by boat. We'll spend 1 day of Class III river rafting on the South Fork of the American River and 1 day of canyoneering. High school groups can upgrade to 1 day class IV California rafting on the Ruck-A-Chuck for an additional $32/person. You will find that in everything we do, it is to build an environment where youth can meet their creator in the outdoors. The challenge of canyoneering and the teamwork of whitewater rafting are amazing opportunities to help them learn more about God and connect with each other. Two days of adventure, white water and sun. We'll spend 2 days of Class III river rafting on the South Fork of the American River. On one day we will adventure on the Lower section, leaving after enjoying lunch in camp. On the other day we will explore the Upper section of the river starting first thing in the morning. We will have lunch on the side of the river and finish at our riverfront campground in the afternoon. High school groups can upgrade to rafting on the Middle Fork of the American River class IV California rafting on the Ruck-A-Chuck for an additional $25/person per day. Each day on our adventures, we'll experience the beauty and strength of the American River that God has made. One Day Rock Climbing Adventure
Join us and our experienced guides for a day of rock climbing in the secluded Billy Goat Gorge. First, we will spend time rock climbing, and or rappelling off a cliff. Then, in the afternoon we normally spend our time exploring a beautiful canyon. Our climbing location has multiple routes to give climbers of any experience level a challenge throughout the day. Our Rock Climbing trips are a great way to help your group experience God through challenge, exploration, and bible studies in the outdoors. We offer climbs with a wide variety of challenge, so we can promise an adventure at any skill level with no climbing experience necessary. An Incredible Canyon Hike
Explore one of our astonishing canyons in California and discover adventure within the peace and beauty of God's amazing creation. Students love to hike and swim through these deep canyons to find great adventures and isolated splendor on our canyoneering guided tours. These canyoneering trips are some of our guides absolute favorites! With a significantly lower price tag than a day of white water rafting, many Christian youth pastors initially add in a day or two of canyoneering to their Christian camp to help keep their costs down on the first year. Only to come back with their kids begging for more canyoneering! We offer 5 unique canyoneering trips with varying levels of difficulty. Some canyons crystal clear pools to swim in and others waterfalls and underwater tunnels to explore!

We'll spend four days backpacking, canyoneering, and rock climbing in the backcountry of the Sierras of California. Then we'll celebrate on the fifth day with Class IV white water rafting in California on the Middle Fork of the American River. Our Class IV Whitewater Adventure
Experience a day of Class IV rafting in California on a 16 mile section of the Middle Fork of the American River. This full day rafting trip has some extreme whitewater along with plenty of opportunity for group bonding and experiencing God in this isolated, deep river canyon. Perfect for High School church youth groups and College aged Christian fellowships, or families looking for an adventurous rafting experience to add onto their Rock-N-Water Christian Camp experience. The Team Builder adventure takes place at our Rock N Water camp located right on the scenic American River. Join us for a day of fun games, challenges, and team activities. Challenge your group to work together through various challenges that will help you grow closer and learn to work and play together. The Team Builder trip is a whole day of activity with a lunch included. While on this trip, we will help your group experience God through exploration, and quiet time in his creation. A Two Day Team Adventure Trip
Amazing team building time while your group is immersed in God's creation makes this trip an excellent Christian summer camp. We'll spend two days challenging ourselves through adventures including 1 day of team building, and 1 day rock climbing. On the first day, we will go outdoor rock climbing in a gorgeous granite canyon. The first part of the day includes top roping at a few different granite walls. We will have lunch on site, near the Consumnes river. Depending on the river levels, we may be able to go down to the river in the second part of the day. This gorge offers bouldering, exploring, canyoneering and a chance to cool off in the nearby swimming hole. On the second day, we will spend time at our camp and engage in team building activities. White Water Kayaking Trips
Spend a day or two rafting Class III white water in inflatable kayaks (Fun-Yaks). Our Christian staff and guides will teach you the basics for our white water kayaking trips before we head down the river to meet the waves face to face as you enter rapids at water level! Work in pairs to navigate your yak for a fun, challenging, and growing experience of a lifetime. The South Fork of the American River in Northern California has two, ten mile sections (the Upper-Chili-Bar Run and the Lower-Gorge Run) perfect for one or two days of white water inflatable kayak trips full of adventurous fun for Church youth groups, families, individuals, or Christian private schools. Each section takes about 4 hours to yak down during the summer months. While you can request the Upper or Lower, we are currently not always able to guarantee which section you will experience.
Family Camping at The Cove
Want to camp in comfort? We have three RV sites located at our group camping location on the banks of the American River. These are great for anyone visiting the Coloma and Lotus areas who would rather camp with more comfort than a tent! bring your own RV and enjoy time with family & friends at The Cove Campground.
