Spend a day or two rafting Class III white water in inflatable kayaks (Fun-Yaks). Our Christian staff and guides will teach you the basics for our white water kayaking trips before we head down the river to meet the waves face to face as you enter rapids at water level! Work in pairs to navigate your yak for a fun, challenging, and growing experience of a lifetime. The South Fork of the American River in Northern California has two, ten mile sections (the Upper-Chili-Bar Run and the Lower-Gorge Run) perfect for one or two days of white water inflatable kayak trips full of adventurous fun for Church youth groups, families, individuals, or Christian private schools. Each section takes about 4 hours to yak down during the summer months. While you can request the Upper or Lower, we are currently not always able to guarantee which section you will experience.

    Community Service Opportunities at Rock-N-Water

Community service projects working around a house icon black

You've talked with your youth group about the value of serving others. You've probably even taken your youth on a mission trip so that they could experience serving others hands on. But why should serving others be limited to just mission trips? What would happen to your typical summer camp experience, if you set aside a day in the middle of all the wild fun and excitement, for an opportunity to serve others and the community at large? Rock-N-Water Christian Camps offers you the opportunity to do just that. We have many different service project opportunities for you to choose from. From simply packing and sorting food for a local food pantry, to leading a day of fun and games for underprivileged youth, to hard manual labor, we've teamed up with local community organizations to help you help your youth and teens to truly serve others first. Each of these community service ideas can be done as a single day project, or combine a day of service into the middle of a longer summer camp or retreat.

Statement of Belief

We believe we should, "Love the Lord (our) God with all (our) heart, and with all (our) soul, and with all (our) mind," and "The entire law is summed up in one command: Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37, Galatians 5:14. We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal and only Son of God. That He died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice, paying the penalty for all our sins, and then rose from the grave. It is through faith alone in Jesus Christ that we have received the free gift of salvation and eternal life. We are saved by grace, not works, “that no one should boast”. We believe the Bible is accurate, reliable, and the Word of God. (Luke 5:20-24; John 1:1-18; John 3:15-21; John 14:1-15; Ephesians 2; 1 John)

Who we are

Rock-N-Water is a group of Christians who want to impact young people with the joy of God's Living Word, so they might come to know Jesus and pass on God's love with excitement. We focus our program on biblical principals, and we use the help of nature, friendship, and challenge to develop character.
