Winter Snow Shoe Trips

2 adventures, 6 meals, 2 nights

Travel into the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California to explore a winter wonderland of snow, ice, and the beauty of God’s creation. Our staff will take you snowshoeing through forests and beside lakes for a time of exploration on our guided snowshoe tours.

On this trip we will spend a day exploring the backcountry of secluded snow covered hills watch the sunset from atop a mountain peak, hike on cross country trails around the lakes on snowshoes, have snowball fights,  build snow caves, and of course go sledding. We’ll also make sure to provide some great quiet times alone in God’s snow covered mountains as we explore all the the outdoors has to offer. As always, we will have campfire time where you and your group will make meaningful relationships and dive deeper into God’s word.

It was great! I’m so thankful for Erik’s last second creative solution to finding a new cabin when our usual cabin was unusable. Great job to Erik & the team!

Amazing snow shoe hike with about 20-25 early aged teenagers up to a cabin above Camp Alta in Auburn. My Son and His Friend Garrett had a Blast building snow caves and down hill sledding trails. The quite time they were able to spend thinking about what God has Planned in their Lives was awesome. The team building activities we did with the Kids is something that will last a lifetime. We Built Unique and Priceless Relationships that Weekend that will last a Lifetime.

Statement of Belief

We believe we should, "Love the Lord (our) God with all (our) heart, and with all (our) soul, and with all (our) mind," and "The entire law is summed up in one command: Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37, Galatians 5:14. We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal and only Son of God. That He died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice, paying the penalty for all our sins, and then rose from the grave. It is through faith alone in Jesus Christ that we have received the free gift of salvation and eternal life. We are saved by grace, not works, “that no one should boast”. We believe the Bible is accurate, reliable, and the Word of God. (Luke 5:20-24; John 1:1-18; John 3:15-21; John 14:1-15; Ephesians 2; 1 John)

Who we are

Rock-N-Water is a group of Christians who want to impact young people with the joy of God's Living Word, so they might come to know Jesus and pass on God's love with excitement. We focus our program on biblical principals, and we use the help of nature, friendship, and challenge to develop character.
