The experience over all was fantastic. The kids had a great time exploring the mines and gold country. The full day at camp was loaded with activities that kept the kids busy. The kids also had a great time learning what it was like to live in the 1800s. The group leaders were great (we had Ma and Sheamus who were excellent). The kids enjoyed listening to their stories and lessons. We were blessed with great weather. The only negatives were the mosquitoes and the lack of knowledge of what was needed for the upcoming hikes (water need, shoe need, how long they would be, etc).
