I would recommend Rock-N-Water. The staff was extremely friendly and the service was great. The dining experience was better than I expected. Unfortunately, we did not get to raft, and our 8th graders who were there for their 8th grade trip, spent the day with 4th graders at the mines and at the state park. Even though I recognize that the river rafting was out of the staff’s control, I would have appreciated another rock climbing outing or a raincheck to come back at a later date just to do the white water rafting. I’m sure that most of those “day rain checks” would probably not have been used, but it would have been a good gesture. Again, these would have been rainchecks for the rafting trip only with no commitment to meals or lodging, especially since it was a financial hardship for some of our students to pay for this whitewater adventure.
