You always invest in your youth… Now it’s time to invest in yourself and your marriage. We recognize the sometimes suffocating challenge of maintaining both a healthy marriage and a prosperous youth ministry. We want this getaway to give your most important earthly relationship a breath of fresh air.

Join us at Rock-N-Water Christian Camp’s riverside camp in Coloma, California for a weekend retreat unlike any other.

A Christian Marriage Retreat unlike any other

Thursday

Thursday night you’ll get settled in and meet other married couples that work in youth ministry before bedding down for the night. Note: If you live closer, you can talk with us about arriving Friday morning instead, but you’ll miss out on some kickoff activities.

Friday

On Friday morning after breakfast get in some couple alone time (there are some great hikes from you can do right from camp or a short drive away) or join in on some fun and games with other youth ministry couples. We will have lunch before going white water rafting down a 10 mile stretch of the South Fork of the American River (Class III). Upon returning to camp, you’ll enjoy an elegant outdoor dinner followed by a time of worship and devotion as we gather around the campfire and focus on how to encourage and nurture your marriage relationship through biblical principles.

Saturday

After another romantic night in your sleeping bags, we’ll have a hot breakfast waiting for you before we jump on the river for a second day of whitewater rafting on a different section of the river. We’ll have lunch alongside the river before making it back to camp where we will say farewell to our new-found friends.

This is not a joke. There is no catch.

First, this trip is a gift for those whose marriages are seasonally challenged by year round youth ministry. It is our hope that through these marriage conferences Rock-N-Water might be helping couples to not only have a weekend to remember, but one that helps strengthen their critically important christian marriage relationship.

Secondly, this trip is an investment in your ministry. We hope that your time with us will inspire you to take your students out into the outdoors more often – maybe even to a Rock-N-Water Christian Camp.
