//Where Rock’n Water May Hide

Where Rock’n Water May Hide

Flowing from beginning to end

The American river with a rich blend,

Of gold,

Shining big and bold

By the riverside

Where Rock’n Water may hide

listening to the word of God while sitting next to the river at camp

James Marshall journeyed far and wide

He found gold, the first, with pride

Down the road to Placerville

By the Side of the massive hill

Take your wagon

Follow me

To the place

Where gold may be

By the riverside

Where Rock’n Water may hide

panning for gold during a California field trip

Forty Niners came along

They would stay there for long

Pic axes, one, two, three, four

they would not bore,

Unless they found gold

Because that’s what they were told

By the riverside

Where Rock’n Water may hide

a father and daugher inspect their gold pan for gold

Building the sawmill, dust all over his face,

He found gold, when building the base

When he realized, he shouted,

“Gold, Gold” and the others pouted

For they did not find gold

At the place where Marshall told

By the riverside

Where Rock’n Water may hide

“Pike’s peaks or bust”

Horses walk in the dust

For when they realized what they found

Nothing! So they headed back to town

To Coloma,

where more gold might be found

By the riverside

Where Rock’n Water may hide

The miners worked hard and bold,

They had a great job to behold

For they rejoiced at what they might find,

Joy! because now they could provide

By the riverside

Where Rock’n Water may hide

playing a game with staff while on a school field trip

For the miners could not find a way

To start a new and go to the west bay

Even if they found a nugget of one,

It is gold! It is worth a ton!

By the riverside

Where Rock’n Water may hide

panning for gold in the South Fork of the American River

We will take you back to 1854

Where all the mines were restored

This is a story to share with your kin

About the time when the world rushed in

Statement of Belief

We believe we should, "Love the Lord (our) God with all (our) heart, and with all (our) soul, and with all (our) mind," and "The entire law is summed up in one command: Love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:37, Galatians 5:14. We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal and only Son of God. That He died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice, paying the penalty for all our sins, and then rose from the grave. It is through faith alone in Jesus Christ that we have received the free gift of salvation and eternal life. We are saved by grace, not works, “that no one should boast”. We believe the Bible is accurate, reliable, and the Word of God. (Luke 5:20-24; John 1:1-18; John 3:15-21; John 14:1-15; Ephesians 2; 1 John)

Who we are

Rock-N-Water is a group of Christians who want to impact young people with the joy of God's Living Word, so they might come to know Jesus and pass on God's love with excitement. We focus our program on biblical principals, and we use the help of nature, friendship, and challenge to develop character.
