The Backpacker Paluza

A Five Day Adventure - Amazing relationship building time while your group is secluded in God's creation makes this trip our favorite Christian summer camp. We'll spend four days back packing, canyoneering, and rock climbing in the back country of the Sierras of California. Then we'll celebrate on the fifth day with Class III rafting on the South Fork of the American River (or High School groups can bump it up to the Class IV Ruck-A-Chuck for just an extra $32/person).


While out in the backcountry, we'll explore God's playground, and challenge ourselves to grow in our Christian faith through quiet times, campfires, climbing, waterslides, and rappelling off a 90ft. cliff. We believe this trip is simply... Unbeatable!

We limit this trip to just one group per week, so backpacking trip dates disappear quickly.

 

Customization

Do you want to add another day or more of adventures to this adventure? Or do you want to extent the length of your trip with some nights of camping? Check out example combinations or just let us know and we can customize a trip to better fit exactly what you are looking for.

 

Prices

  • All prices are per person and based on doing adventures Monday through Friday in the "Summer" from June through October. There is an extra $15 charge for each Saturday or Sunday we do an adventure.
  • Rafting trips in March through May are an extra $8/trip due to uncertain spring time water flow conditions.
  • Rock-N-Water Christian Camps will provide Wet Suits for no additional cost when needed for rafting safety.

Schedule

Arrive: Sunday 7 PM
Depart: Friday 6 PM

Option: Depart on Saturday ~8 AM for an extra $17/person including Friday Dinner and Camping.

Rafting, Canyoneering, Rock Climbing, Backpacking, and our staff.

Requirements

Groups of 12-20 People.

Backpacking backpacks are not provided, but are about the only special gear you'll need.
