How to start the application process
If after reading about Rock-N-Water and the jobs we offer; you have thought and prayed things over; and are interested in further pursuing a job a Rock-N-Water... Then here is what you should do:
Snail Mail (not email) us a "Personal Letter of Introduction" telling us who you are and why you want to work here. Be sure to somehow include the following:
- Your Mailing Address
- Phone Number
- Email (if you got one)
- Birth Date (if under 18)
- What you want to do (49er Fun Living History Guide, Volunteer Program, Summer Guide, Staff Off Site, Kitchen...)
- Dates of your approximate availability.

International Applicants - Yes, even you need to snail mail your letter of introduction. But don't worry, the rest of the application process can be done mostly online, by email, or by phone.
Letters of Introduction are accepted until positions are filled, with priority given to letters mailed by January 1st. We typically get so many high quality applications that we typically stop accepting new applications by the end of January.
